Having enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch I felt compelled to leave a review. Not only was all our 4 meals delicious, but the service was great too. We were served very quickly and the food came within minutes. I thoroughly recommend it. Great service by very attentive staff. Will definitely revisit. A lee x

We regularly stay at this beautiful hotel in the centre of Frome. Location is perfect for us when we go to events on at the cheese and grain/visit the monthly market. The staff are always so lovely and welcoming they really make you feel like nothing is too much trouble. The rooms we’ve had have all been spacious, clean and tidy. We often have our evening meals here when we stay and the food has always been superb! The burger is a firm fave and a must try. All in all a great hotel and pub. We won’t stay anywhere else 😊

Good pub right in the middle of Frome, good location for looking around the town. Good atmosphere in the pub in evening. Rooms are comfortable with good bed. Just needs a lick of paint, here and there for it to be 1st class. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Very good full English breakfast.

Lovely pub in the centre of the town with friendly staff and great service. The food is excellent and fairly priced. Foor ranges from small bites and cakes to massive steaks. I ate a BLT sandwich with white bread. My companion had a honey glazed sandwich with brown bread.

Fantastic hotel! After staying here for three nights, I was able to extend my stay a further two more nights. The hotel is situated in the middle of the Frome with plenty of local shops and a local market down the road. The staff was super friendly, they went above and beyond to make sure I was well looked after. The menu had a nice variety of food and they were able to cater for all my dietary needs. The room facilities were spot on the bed was super comfy Highly recommend staying here, for business or pleasure stays

We had a fantastic meal at the George, the menu had a great selection, there was something for everyone. All the food was freshly made and looked and tasted home-cooked. The service was excellent, the bar staff waiting on us were really friendly and attentive, thanks especially to Pheobe and Wayne who waited on us. Booking a table was easy. We had our dog with us and she was well looked after too. Next time we’re in Frome we will be sure to be back. Thank you

Perfectly located on a main road in Frome, we have stayed several times at this fantastic dog friendly hotel, each time in a different room. The en-suite rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean and the beds large and comfy. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Our nervous dog settles very well and enjoys the fuss and treats the staff give her. The food is just delicious and good value. We had a special celebratory meal for a group of us and the order was spot on regarding the various dietary requirements. We’re looking forward to our next stay in a few weeks and sampling the new menu. The free secure parking is a bonus. The hotel has run events to support charities and hopefully our next stay will coincide with an event or one of their popular quiz nights.

Great visit, staff friendly and a nice relaxed atmosphere. There's some tired areas but nothing too offputting. Younger serving staff seemed confident making conversation with customers makes this one of the better pubs in Frome. Beer was good and they have sport on. Made for a decent night out.
